BECU Foundation Scholarship

The BECU Foundation Scholarship brings to life BECU’s core principle of people helping people. Every year, this scholarship provides us the opportunity to recognize and honor members who devote their time helping others while also pursuing post-secondary education.

College Bound Commitment

The College Bound Commitment is an early commitment of state financial aid to eligible students who enroll in middle school and meet the pledge requirements. The College Bound Commitment covers the cost of tuition at public college rates, some fees, and a small book allowance at over 65 colleges, universities and technical schools in Washington state.

Governors' Scholarship for Foster Youth

The Washington State Governors’ Scholarship for Foster Youth is a scholarship program that helps young people from foster care continue their education and earn a college degree. The program is supported by Gov. Jay Inslee, The Honorable Chris Gregoire (former governor), The Honorable Gary Locke (former governor), and other former governors in Washington state.

Leadership 1000 

The Leadership 1000 Scholarship awards funding to certain high school seniors attending eligible high schools or students enrolled in CSF’s College Services who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a Washington state college or university. The scholarship is renewable and available in amounts up to $5,000 per academic year for students who demonstrate financial need.

WSOS Baccalaureate Scholarship 

BaS is one of three pathways to high-demand careers in Washington State offered by WSOS. This program provides up to $22,500 in scholarship dollars and access to career-launching support services for high-demand STEM and health care majors. WSOS can cover costs beyond tuition, such as housing, transportation, food, and more. Funding can be used for any eligible STEM or health care major at any eligible public or private college or university in Washington state. 

Highline Schools Foundation

Highline Schools Foundation is thrilled to announce scholarships totaling $372,500 have been awarded to 47 graduating seniors from across Highline Public Schools, including students from Evergreen High School, Highline Big Picture, Highline High School, Innovation Heights Academy, Mount Rainier High School, Puget Sound Skills Center, Raisbeck Aviation High School, and Tyee High School.

Scholarships are made possible by gifts made to the Foundation, both through individual gifts and endowed funds providing long-term scholarship support. Nearly all of our scholarships are needs-based, and applications are screened based on the Washington State DSHS Median Income Chart. All scholarships are paid directly to the student’s educational institution and may be used for tuition, on-campus housing, books, and fees.

The Gates Scholarship

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to exceptional student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship

So much more than a scholarship! The Amazon Future Engineer program will award 400 students up to $40,000 each toward college expenses, paired with opportunities to intern at Amazon.
